Lynne Shapiro Brotman | Family Well-being Specialist | Founder, Ellesbe Consulting LLC
Real support for parents of anxious, overwhelmed, and emotionally struggling teens.
Practical well-being practices, genuine community, and the understanding that your well-being is the foundation your family needs.
Also valuable for therapists, educators, healthcare providers, and others who support these families.
Most parents are asked to hold everything together while receiving very little support themselves.
You may be worried about your teen. You may be exhausted. You may feel isolated, overwhelmed, or stuck in a constant state of vigilance. You may have forgotten what it feels like to focus on your own well-being.
You are not the only one.
Most support focuses on the struggling teen.
My work focuses on the well-being of the adults supporting them.
At the heart of my approach is a thoughtfully curated collection of 9 well-being pathways chosen specifically for parents navigating difficult seasons with their teens. Together, these pathways offer multiple ways to restore balance, build resilience, and stay connected to yourself—because no single practice works for everyone.
Rather than adding more to your to-do list, this approach helps you strengthen the foundation beneath everything else.
When parents are better supported, families are better supported.

Practical education, shared understanding, and connection for parents navigating a
difficult season.

One-on-one, semi-private, and small-group support designed to help you regain steadiness, build resilience, and care for yourself while caring for your teen.

Workshops, speaking engagements, and collaboration opportunities for organizations that support teens and families.
Parenting a teen through anxiety or emotional struggle is one of the hardest experiences a parent can face—and most families are doing it without nearly enough support.
I know this experience from the inside.
Through years of searching for answers, I discovered that supporting a struggling teen requires more than information, treatment plans, and crisis management. Parents need support, too.
I created this work to offer what I wish had existed when I needed it most: practical well-being practices, meaningful connection, mental health education, and a place where parents can find and hold their balance—even when everything around them is shifting.
Because when parents are well, families are stronger.

You're here because you care.
The journey doesn't end here—and you don't have to navigate it alone.
